The St. John's food collection is donated periodically to those in need in the Aspen Hill community. Through the generous donations of church members, our food pantry always contains food. |

A huge thank you to EVERYONE who helped with the Yard Sale!!!! We earned $1635 and Thrivent will match $1600, so $3235 will be donated to ELCA’s Disaster Relief Funds for Hurricane Victims. We couldn’t do it without you all!

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY - Care for others and the love of knitting or crocheting combine into a prayerful ministry that makes shawls, lap robes and afghans for those members in need of comfort and solace. Many prayers and blessings are stitched into every piece that is made. Before going on to the final recipient, the whole congregation blesses them with prayer during a Sunday Service. The recipients truly appreciate this tangible symbol of the love and prayers held up for them by their family at St. John's. |

Piecemakers is a service ministry that makes mission quilts for Lutheran World Relief. The quilts are distributed worldwide to victims of natural and other disasters.
Piecemakers meets at 1:30 p.m. on the second Wednesday of the month in St. John's fellowship hall. All are welcome.
