Each Sunday, St. John's celebrates the Eucharist with a contemporary service (9:00 AM) and a traditional service (11:15 AM). These Sunday-morning services continue throughout the summer with an appropriately modified time schedule. St. John's has been blessed with the ministry of musicians to appropriately guide both the contemporary service and the traditional services. St. John's Praise Teens enjoy singing for services periodically. Any teen is welcome to join in on the fun! Some of our most special services involved St. John's youth - Youth Sunday, Confirmation on Reformation Sunday, and high school students sharing their experiences at ELCA Youth Convention in San Antonio. St. John's continued to celebrate bilingual services with Cristo Senor de la Vida Lutheran Church. Pastor Aurelio and Pastor Scott together led services on Ash Wednesday, Good Friday, Thanksgiving Eve and Christmas Eve.

St. John's Choir - The choir helps to lead the liturgy and music each Sunday at the traditional service and also sings a choral anthem each week. Membership is open to anyone who has an interest in singing and rehearsals are held on Wednesday evenings.

Praise Team - The Praise Team leads worship each Sunday at the contemporary service and includes vocalists and instrumentalists. Our band currently consists of acoustic/electric guitar, bass and drums but we welcome the addition of other instruments. Rehearsals are held Sunday mornings and on occasional Thursday evenings.

Praise Teens - The Praise Teens are a choral group for middle school, junior high and high schoolers. We sing a variety of music from traditional to gospel to contemporary. Rehearsals are held weekly (time to be announced) and we participate in the music for the contemporary or traditional service on a monthly basis.

Sunday School Music - All Sunday School aged children will have singing time as part of their Sunday morning activities. In addition, each week we will spend some time working on a song to sing at the contemporary or traditional service.
